2013 Results

We had a great turnout for a potentially rainy day. Lucky us it didn't rain!
Thanks to everyone who came out to run or walk the race. You are all a great bunch of people.

The American Cancer Society got a donation of $725 on your behalf through Melanie Meachum from the ACS, who also deserves a lot of thanks for her work today.

Thanks also to all the volunteers. I really could not do this without you keeping me in line.
And a great big thank you to Bluestone State Park for the use of the facilities.

2013 Race Information.

6th Annual Bluestone River Wild 5K Run/ Walk

An American Cancer Society Fund Raising Event

Race Date:     Saturday, May 18^th, 2013                   Race Start Time:       9:00am

Race: Proceeds of the entry fees for the 5K Run/Walk will go to the American Cancer Society. The race will be a 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) through beautiful Bluestone State Park off of Route 20 near Hinton, West Virginia. The race is on paved roads within the property of Bluestone State Park.

On Site Registration: Begins at 8am in the pool and picnic area near Meador Camping Area and the swimming pool.

• Parking is also available in that location.
• Gift bags guaranteed for first 50 people at the onsite registration.

Fees:   5K Walk/Run              Race Day Registration            $15.00

Awards:

• 5K Run – Male and Female Overall running winners,
• 5K Walk - Combined overall walking winner
• Additional awards will be first three in age group for both walkers and runners:

Groups - 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & over
