Details of the race include:
- The Bluestone River Wild 5k will be competed on 15 May 2010 with a start time of 9AM and registration beginning at 8AM.
- Registration fee is $15 with proceeds going toward the Summers County Relay for Life event
- T-shirts guarenteed to the first 50 to register and participate
- The event is held on Bluestone State Park near the swimming pool, just take Route 20 to the park and then follow the main road to the park office, then bear left following the signs to the pool parking area.
- The race begins by circling the Meador Campground and then make a left on the main road, continue all the way to the back of the park at the Wildlife Management Area gate. Participants will then return to the Old Mill Campground and circle through that area. The event then returns to the main road and continues back to the entrance of the Meador Campground.
- Awards will be provided to the Overall male and female runners.
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for both Men and Women in all age groups in both the run and walk.
- Age groups are 5 year increments starting at 14 and under all the way to 65 and over - lots of winners!
- Refreshments and door prize drawing following the event

It was a great day...thanks, Sandy, for all the hard work you do to make the race come together. As usual, the weather cooperated with you and everything!!! See you next year (though I hope o see yuoo personally sooner at some of these other races!)
